Cancellations and Missed Appointments

* We require a 24 business hour notice of cancellation or we charge a $50.00 cancellation fee.

* Not showing up for a scheduled appointment (except in the case of a true emergency) will result in being charged the full cost of the missed session and no further appointments can be scheduled until the balance is cleared.

Please read the following in its entirety

Unlike many other health care facilities where more than one person is scheduled at a time and someone canceling at the last minute or not showing up is not as noticeable, scheduling an appointment with us means that you have reserved a private treatment room and therapist and no one else can use that room or schedule with that therapist during your time. They both belong to you and so you are held accountable for most or all of the cost of the session reserved if you do not give us at least 1 full business day notice to refill the slot. What makes the difference is if we are able to fill your cancellation or not. The closer you cancel to the time of your appointment the less likely we are to be able to reach someone else and get them scheduled. *Example: If you have a Monday morning appointment you will need to call and cancel no later than the previous Friday morning to avoid a full fee.

The only exceptions to being charged for a cancellation with less than 1 full business day notice are true emergencies such as the sudden onset of hazardous weather conditions, an unexpected hospitalization, being involved in a car accident or waking up on the day of an appointment with a contagious illness. In other words, your appointment is your responsibility to record correctly, remember and figure out a way to keep, or cancel with enough notice for us to fill your slot with someone on our waiting list. Those who have more than 2 late cancellations, are more than 15 minutes late for appointments on a regular basis or who miss an appointment without notice more than 2 times will be asked to seek care elsewhere.

All cancellations made by e-mail or voice mail (by either the client or the clinic) will remain on the books and the responsibility of the canceling party until the cancellation is confirmed as received. We will always respond promptly after receiving a cancellation to let you know we got the message and we ask that you do the same for us. Existing clients may also call or text the therapist directly if there is an emergency.

Please strive to be on time for all appointments. We operate on a tight schedule and are rarely ever more than 5-10 minutes off track. In which case, we will always give your time back to you provided your schedule allows for it, or we will reduce the rate. If you are late however, we are only able to work with what is left of your original appointment time and you are responsible for the entire fee.

Testimonials

I do a lot of business travel and come home from long trips feeling very beat up.  I have noticed a big difference in the way that I bounce back as a result of working with neuromuscular therapy.  My therapist is able to quickly address whatever my current problem is and get me feeling human again!  I have been working with TTPT for about a year now and have found that NMT really does make a difference.
