Pregnancy can be one of the most glorious and wonderful times of a woman’s life, when she looks and feels better than she ever has - or not. And much of what makes the difference is the physical balance, musculo-skeletal health, lifestyle, diet and daily exercise habits that a woman has prior to pregnancy as well as during it. But not all women have a chance to get on top of all this before suddenly discovering they are going to be mothers - and sadly they end up in chronic pain as the body changes and rapidly grows.

If you are planning a pregnancy or if you are already pregnant, learn what can be done to nurture both yourself and your unborn child with pre and peri natal massage. These are two of the most helpful things that you can do for yourself as well as for the baby, before, during and after delivery. And the best news of all is that soon-to-be Dads can take part, too.

Claire Miller-Pohen is one of the areas most respected and experienced instructors in pre and peri natal massage and at TTPT we incorporate the information and techniques taught in her popular “Nurturing the Mother” course. Fertility massage, pre and perinatal massage, postpartum care, infant massage and partner massage are all part of what we have to offer at the clinic, and what we can teach you to do at home with the help of your partner both during pregnancy and after the delivery.

I went to see my dentist with pain in my lower jaw, thinking I absolutely was headed for a root canal.  She sent me to Terrie who has eased my aching jaw ever since.  No more broken night guards or crowns! Terrie also solved several other body aches when no one else could.  She immediately knew which muscles were troubled and the appropriate stretches to get me back into working order. Terrie, with her warm heart and superior expertise is now a part of my life and on my schedule forever.  No retiring for you, Terrie! I plan to have you around until I’m not.  Big hugs to you!
